September 27, 2013 Phillip C. Stevens 64 of Camillus passed away Friday, September 27th, 2013 he was born in Syracuse on December 17, 1948 to Ernest and Molly Stevens. Phil was retired from the Medical records Department at VA Medical Center Syracuse. Phil served as a SSGT in the United States Air Force from 1968 – 1971 in Germany. He enjoyed fishing and family time at his camp on Saranac Lake, NY. He was very understanding, forgiving and patient, he had a wonderful sense of humor. Phil was also a great gardener!!!! . In addition to his parents, Phil was predeceased by his stepmother, Olga and brothers; Charles, Gene and Dana. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda McLeod Stevens; daughters, Melissa(Chris) Baker, Candace(Angelo) Schell; grandchildren, Christopher, Paige, Lila and Nicole; brother, Ray Stevens of CA. Memorial Visitation: Friday 4 to 6PM with services following at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Burial services will be held at a later date to be announced in Veterans Memorial Cemetery Syracuse with Military Honors.
