Dear Roberta and family, I am sorry to read about the loss of your mother. I knew she was a part of the Sacred Heart School system but did not realize she was your mother. God bless you and your family. May her soul rest in God's peace. Joyce Behling (from SUNY Upstate).

Ted and family, I'm sorry for your loss. Sorry about being late with my condolences .Your mother was my third grade teacher. I always liked her. When I worked at the Scotch 'n Sirloin, one of our servers went to Sacred Heart and she mentioned that she had your mother for second grade. When my sister was in high school, someone asked if they had a sibling in third grade. My sister said that she did , so somehow she was responsible for doing any typing for the class.'
You 're in my prayers. Keep strong.. I remember that you and Rosie Scuatri graduated w/ us class of 1975 from Hearts.

Dear Bob and family, I am so very sorry to learn of Bonnie's passing. It seems that the good do die young. She was such a kind and generous person not only in her regular and work life but also during her recreational time, particularly along with her love of boating at Pirates Cove Marina where we knew each other. I'm still very grateful for all the help she and you gave me there in my efforts to be a boater too. I know we lost touch after I retired and moved to Florida, but you were often in my thoughts. My very deepest condolences, Sam Vavonese

Bonnie was a wonderful, dedicated, caring person. My daughter taught at Sacred Heart School and always spoke highly of Mrs. Ditch as a nice person to work with. Whenever my husband and I saw Bonnie at the store she always took the time to ask how the family was doing. Seeing so many notes of thanks and praise of Mrs. Ditch made me realize how important it is to let people how much we appreciate them. Our sincere sympathy and prayers.

Mrs. Ditch was my second grade teacher at Sacred Heart. She was sometimes a tough teacher, but a great teacher at that. I remember when we would practice for our communion, she would always try & make it fun, but also wanted things to run smoothly & perfectly. I would on occasion run into at Wegmans, and always stopped to talk to her. She will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, at this difficult time.

Mrs. Ditch will forever be my favorite teacher. She was a kind, patient, and loving woman. I will always appreciate the time and effort she put it to making sure my cursive was perfect, and my fractions were known by heart. She inspired my desire to learn and I hope I can pass her inspiration on to others. I am so sorry for your family's loss and I just wanted to let you know she inspired many.

I am so sad for Bonnie and for her family. My heart is broken. Bonnie was my teacher, but also a friend and mentor to me later in life. She helped me when my son died in 92, just her words and the time she took to connect with me on such a level helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life. She was special . The world is allot less bright to me knowing she passed. Im so, so sorry.
