So sorry to hear of your loss,Chris and Mike and all; Mr Filipski would win 'Mr Congeniality' of Sheraton Road hands down. We always ended up smiling after a conversation with him - so funny and kind. I remember him trying to get my father to leave the house and go do something fun with him for my father's own good, with very little success...but he kept trying! He was definitely one of a kind in the best way.

When I picture Mr. Filipski in my mind, all I see is his smiling face, and the twinkle in his eyes. We lived on Sheraton Road and his daughter Chris was and is my best friend. I was in and out of their warm, friendly and inviting home a lot during our teens and early 20's and always felt welcome. Mr. Filipski was always trying to make me blush with his outrageous statements and slightly off color jokes, but it was all in fun and made us all laugh. He was out and about the neighborhood and knew everyone on the street. My parents always enjoyed seeing him come their way. You were a bright light and will be missed. God bless you and keep you in his care.
