Aunt Edith was special to me and will always be in my heart. I remember after Peggy had grown too old for dolls, Aunt Edith started to buy baby dolls for me for Christmas. What was so special was that she included real baby clothes for the dolls that belonged to Janet's baby girl, Ellen. Although that was many years ago, I still have those dolls. I have such wonderful childhood memories of my Mother, Father, Brad, Donna and I visiting Aunt Edith and Uncle Louie and the cousins in Syracuse. In later years we visited them in Middlebury Center and had great meals at their restaurant. Whenever Aunt Edith was in the Canton area, she always took the time to visit my late parents (Aunt Alice and Uncle Ross) and I know that meant the world to them. Over the years I kept in touch with Aunt Edith through cards and letters and it is sad to realize that ritual is now over. My love and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Janet, Dick and the entire family.

Well my dear "Gramma Edith". You sure did try to make it to 100. I am pretty sure youre happy right now with your baby (Peggy). I am thinking that the two of you are sitting there having coffee debating on what to do for the day. Tend to the blueberrie, weed the flowers,go quilting or run to town....
I love you Edith and have missed you.
I will NEVER forget some of our good times..the laughs the three of us had together...
Tell Peg I said hello and miss her!
I will think of you everytime I put a needle in a quilt, stir up a batch of fudge, mmmm potato soup and dumplings, molasses cookies, homemade bread......memories on and on

Grandmom, I now for sure you're at this moment enjoying God's kingdom and hugging our sweet Jesus. You were a great woman, I never forgot all the care you had for me, your food, and the times you cut my hair. Well all that hair is gone now, but the memories of your love always present. I still keep the American Flag you send me, and I'm so glad a couple times recently. That Flag means a lot to me. Grandmom, now that you're in heaven pray for us, so we might go to heaven too one day and be with God and you for eternity!
Jerry (Dad), Ty, Bod, Mike, and all my American brothers and families, received our prayers in this mourning time. All my love to you!
Jaime, your Colombian relative for always.
