Dear Joanne, I was looking for your address to send a card and finally figured out how to send condolences! Dale and I were so saddened to hear of Pete's sudden loss. What a difficult time for you...I have enjoyed knowing Pete since I got to know you both a little when he was a patient. Always a wonderful smile waiting when I'd come in in the morning at work and get my coffee! I hope to see your smiling face soon, too. But take time to do some healing and know that others are thinking of you!

I was so saddeened by Petey's passing. He was such a wonderful, caring, fun-loving, laughing,"mischievous" young man. He always told me"he had my back". He was such a wonderful friend, as you are. Dear Joanne and family
Pete was a joy to be around, always with a big smile on his face. I knew him at work at University Hospital and he worked with my son-in-law. He always came to my office when Ken and Bill would come for "goodies". He was a great guy and will be sadly missed by all that had an opportunity to know him. My dear Joanne...Please know you hold a special place in my heart as you and Pete always did. You both always have been such a happy couple and I admire that. I've known you and Pete a long time. I will miss seeing him and you together every day in the hall talking. I will miss hearing his voice, as well. He was a very cool guy. I am so sorry to hear that Pete has passed away. You may remember me from the clambakes and our trip to Atlantic City. I was married to Jay Griffith before he died in 1999. Pete always made me feel like we were good ol' pals. The picture in the paper is perfect. That's the way I remember him, with that look in his eye. You will be in my prayers.

It was with a great sense of loss and shock when our family learned of Peter's death. Peter will always be remembered for that friendly grin he had for everyone. Our family always felt fortunate to have Peter and JoAnne for our neighbors for so many years. Peter called our boys one day to tell us someone was trying to take our pet cat. The two of them would always care for our pets when we weren't home. JoAnne and Peter was always there to help others when they could. All the rest of us are the poorer for Peter's passing, as the world has lost someone very special. Our prayers to both families for this great loss.
