So sorry to hear of your loss. It was heartwarming to learn Mr Lepkowski was a survivor of Okinawa. Once a marine, always a marine!

My Dear Carol & Jamie,
My heart is heavy with grief upon the news of Mr Lepkowski's passing. Oh how loving and caring he was as a devoted husband, loving dad and joyful, "doting" grandfather. He displayed love in all that he did, evidenced by his children's devotion to God and family. Be assured that he is reunited with his son, Frankie, and now with our Heavenly Father.
Yours in Christ,
Cynthia

and Mrs Lepkowski exuded a sporit of love and generosity and fun. On reflection, the fact that Mr Lepkowski, U.S. Marine, volunteered, fought for and protected his country and his countrymen/women and was wounded in action all before he was 20 is something for all of us to consider whether we are in college or collecting social security.
