Obituary of James A. Hogue

October 5, 2015 James A Hogue passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Bernice, his daughter Michele and his siblings Robert, Elinor, Louella and Doris. He is survived by his son Howard, daughter Mary Jane (Sylvester), his sister Helen, five grand and eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born in Fowler N. Y., graduated high school in Edwards N.Y. , attended college at SUNY Oswego and earned his PHD at Syracuse University. He started his career as an I.A. teacher and later became a Vice Principal at Jamesville DeWitt High School, where he retired from in the 1980's. In retirement he enjoyed summers at Trout Lake in Northern N.Y. and winter's in Leesburg Florida. Dr. Hogue has generously donated his remains to the Upstate Medical University Anatomical Gift Program. There are no calling hours and a private service will be held by the family.
