I am very saddened to hear about the passing of your mom. As I was growing up and being a neighbor of yours, I really liked your mom alot. She was such a sweet lady. I remember the carnivals you use to have in your yard. I was always bringing home the biggest stuffed animals that I won. Shelley, I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am thinking of you.
Love,
Tracy Miller (Davison)

Edie, or French Fry lady as I know her, was one of the nicest people I have ever gotten the privilege of meeting in my life. After meeting her, I could see where Shelly got it from, and of course she must have worn off on Jim too, because they are all kind, caring and genuinely nice people. I feel very fortunate to be Jim and Shelly's waitress at their local breakfast joint in Reno, and feel blessed to have gotten to know Edie and share many laughs with her. :) Edie you will be missed, and I will think of you every time I eat a fry.
Love,
Amanda
and PS I promise to continue the ice cream trend, and bring your little grand doggie Shadow her favorite treat on her birthday!

May it help in some small way to know that my thoughts are with you.
I was Edie's dental hygienist in Brewerton, NY.
We spent many hours thoughout the many years she come to me talking about family.
You may wonder how did I clean her teeth and have a conversation with Edie, well if you know Edie, then you know we fit it all in.
Her family was the most of the conversation, she was so excited to move out west and I was sad to see her go, although I knew she wanted that more than anything.
She will be truly missed her in my office and in my heart.
Love to you all, Brenda Perkins.
PS She had the best smile!

A special friend - a very special and unique lady. I was saddened to read of her death - guess she was just one of those people you thought would go on forever!
My sympathy to all her family, especially Michelle - I know you really were her "sidekick." You are all in my prayers. God bless.
