Francis Robert Donaldson (Frank) 91 years of Bradenton, Florida and Syracuse, NY passed away on November 17th, 2024. Francis was born In Niagara Falls, NY to Edith (Mulholland) and Francis R. Donaldson, Sr. (both deceased) on October 13th, 1933. Francis served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a gas inspector for Niagara Mohawk. He was an avid Red Sox fan. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling with friends and family.

Francis is survived by his son’s Francis Jr and Pamela Donaldson of Brewerton, Timothy Donaldson and Kim Casteline of Syracuse, John and Tracey Donaldson of Interlaken and Michael Donaldson of Alabama. Daughter’s  Nancy and Kevin McCarthy of Baldwinsville and Maureen and Richard Graham of Syracuse. 

He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Francis was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Patricia (Murphy), Donaldson in 2017. Also predeceased by his sister Priscilla and brother Jack.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Upstate Hospital and St Camillus in Syracuse in caring for him in his final days.
