I only knew Francis through his son Frank Jr. I worked with Frank Jr. for over 35 years at Anaren Microwave. Back in the early 80's he spoke of his dad's carrier at National Grid. I could tell that he was very proud of his dad's dedication to his carrier and character. And over the years I saw these same traits within Frank Jr. Mr. Donaldson must of been so proud. But on a lighter note! Now I know where this Red Sox stuff came from. As a Yankee fan, let's not go there.

One of my earliest memories with Grandpa was when he would take me to the Carousel Mall. We would walk to different kiosks and answer surveys. Then we would “win” coupons. My favorite was a free hotdog at someplace in the food court. We would pick up day old cookies from Mrs. Field’s and take most of them to the food bank. Grandma would be working with other grandmas at the food bank. All the ladies would tell me how handsome I was. It was the best.
