August 29, 2014 David M. Dine (Big Dave), 55 passed away Friday . Big Dave worked at Empire Transportation Services for over 30 years, Dave was the “ King of Empire” and he trained “ The Queen of Empire”, his niece, Samantha Ford. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Anita and James Connors and brother, Robert Dine. He is survived by his loving wife Laura Taylor and children; Tabitha, Brandon and Dorothy( Tim); grandchildren; Dylan and Noah, his other 3 children Brittany, Kevin and William Sass; sisters, Sandi(Chuck), Linda, Susan(Tom), Joanne; brothers, Steven(Shelly), James(Samantha), Theodore(Susan), Paul and Warren and several nieces and nephew. Calling Hours: Thursday, September 4th, 5 to 7 PM with services following at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee Street Syracuse.
