Dear Dine family,

On behalf of all of us at Onondaga Community College Foundations (formerly Passages) program, I send our sincere regret and sorrow at the passing of Big Dave. For over ten years, I had the pleasure of knowing Dave as a kind, funny man with immesurable patience. I can't tell you how may times I spoke to Dave each day and not once did he speak ill of anyone. Dave was one of a kind and will be sorely missed by so many of our employees and clients, past and present. Although he was "retired" and left his post to the very capable Samantha, every once in a while when I called, I would hear Dave's voice saying
"Eh-mpire!" which always brought a smile. We are sure gonna miss you David.

I'm sorry to read about David's death. His mother, Anita, was my daughter's babysitter when she was 2 (she's now 45) years old and I always thought very highly of her, and of her children. I didn't know that Robert also had passed away. Prayers to you all in this sad time.

Uncle David you meant the world to me growing up and even though we didn't talk that often I always cherished the Times we did spending with each other. I remember helping you, Laurie and the kids move in your apartment... painting laughing and just having a great time. The world has lost and Angel and heaven gained a really good one...
