Obituary of April M Fairbrother

April M. Fairbrother, passed away on February 23rd, 2023, at home. She was the wife of Michael R. Fairbrother. They shared 30 years together.

Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of Richard and Gail Redden. She attended Paul V. Moore high school in Central Square, NY. She was employed at Suny Upstate and worked in Patient Access Services for 25 years. 

April loved her family and being a mom and wife. She had a big heart and a very caring nature. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.

She will be remembered for her love of knitting, baking, and a DIY attitude towards life. She liked polar bears, coffee, and the autumn season. She enjoyed fantasy adventure movies and books, especially about vikings, medieval times, and the renaissance. Her favorite movie was Titanic. She also loved hard rock and country music, her favorites being Dio and Dolly Parton. 

April is survived by her husband, Michael Fairbrother; her children, Devon and Trent; her father, Richard Redden; her mother, Gail Redden; her brothers, Eric and Chris; her mother-in-law, Susan Nowak; and many more beloved relatives.

The memorial service will be held on March 3rd, 2023 at 2 pm to 3 pm, at Hollis Funeral Home.
