April 18, 2009 Walter J. Burt, Sr. 79 of Locke, NY Passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009. Walt was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. He was an Army Veteran and National Treasurer of The Dads of Foreign Service. He was a member of the Pastimes Club. Walt was employed 49 years as a driver for Centro and was treasurer of CERC. Walt was avid bowler for many Bowling Leagues and his favorite past time was caring for his yard. His first wife, Charlotte Ryerson Burt 1977, predeceased Walt. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jeanne C. Burt of Locke; children, LTC Walter J. (Katherine) Burt Jr, US. Army, RET. of Baldwinsville, Laurel L. (Warren) Boyce of Syracuse, Dana L. (Thomas) Marzynski of Fairmount, Dale G. (John) Vigiliotti of Liverpool and Step Children; Sandra J. Bidwell of Little Rock, AK, Ralph F. (Susan) Crandall of Locke, Gayle E. Kelly of Auburn, Kerry J. Crandall of Peoria, AZ, Penny Ann (Richard) MC Kane of Locke; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. Calling Hours: Wednesday 4 to 7 PM at Hollis Funeral Home, Syracuse.
