Dear Walt, Laurie, Dana & Dale,
News of your dad's death hit me particulary hard. One of my dad's long time friends is gone. I well remember many softball games they played along with Tom Grimm. I can't begin to tell you how many bowling tournaments we went to. One memory that stands out is your dad and mine, and this little boy, having breakfast at the small cafe across from the Syracuse Transit Company where all the drivers went. As always, your dad drank a Pepsi, even in the morning.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know he will be in our prayers and will be remembered a long time.
All the best,
Jim Casey

As we were not fortunate enough to have ever met your father we can only believe that he was a wonderful man. For his daughters are to of the nicest people we have had to good fortune to call our friends. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during your time of need.

Sorry for your loss. Your Father was an example for all of us,,,,,
A patriot, a good father, a good work ethic to provide for his family, and a sense of humor.
I remeber as kids when we'd through snowballs at the bus, he'd stop and chase us. He acted like he hated all of us, but I think he kind of chuckled too, at those darn kids. He was always very tolerant of us kids hanging around the house and even the boyfriend thing with Lori and I.
I'm sure he will be missed by all and remembered fondly. I will.
