Living and working on Westcott St. I knew Willie. He was a great Blues man and I enjoyed watching him perform, whether at the Orange Grove, Taps or the cultural far. He was a kind and humble man who brought a smile to my face when I heard him sing. Thanks Willie. Bob

This is crazy, just today I thought of Willie and his smile. I had not seen him in years since moving to another part of Syracuse. it may sound strange but this is a testimony to his kind soul and welcoming spirit. He will be missed, but us who knew him know his time here made the wolrd a better place. Rest is song and peace Willie.
