Obituary of Daniel Duane Slater

March 20, 2014 Daniel Duane Slater 73 of Syracuse passed away Thursday, March 20th. Born in Towanda, PA on September 30, 1940. Dan was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1961 to 1965 and after his Honorable Discharge in 1965, he re-enlisted and served in Vietnam with The United States Army from 1965 to 1968. Dan was formerly employed by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department. There are no known survivors of Dan. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 10 AM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee Street Syracuse. Burial with Military Honors Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
