To the Ciaccio family, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He touched many lives at Guilderland.,students and teachers. I was touched by his soft way then and when we caught up years later. One of the few that left a positive mark on so many lives.

I was a newbie in Jan 1970 on the teaching staff at Guilderland HS, with Chuck as my first principal. Throughout those first years he welcomed me, along with all the other teachers, to TGIF parties, end-of-school parties, Christmas parties, first-day picnics, the gamut!!! He was personable and kind-hearted and wanted everyone to work together for the good of the students. Blessings and sympathy to Prudy who supported Chuck all these years and who became a good friend as well. And sympathies to his children and grandchildren and all who loved Chuck. Mickey Nieman

I am so sad to read about Chuck’s death. What a wonderful and lovely man he was. As a senior in high school, I acted as “Principal of the day” and had such a great day with him. Chuck and Prudy played bridge with my parents while I babysat the Ciaccio kids, all very fond memories. My heartfelt sympathies to the entire Ciaccio family.
