Hank and I were friends and neighbors for much of my life. We are the same age, and as teens we would raise "hell" in the neighborhood. Hank always had the most friendly and well trained dogs in all of Solvay. In most recent years, Hank showed much respect for my parents, who lived 2 doors away from the Wisneski homestead. Following bad winter storms, Hank would snow blow their driveway, just to help out 2 senior citizens. Don't know if I ever had a chance to say this to you, Hank. Thank you. Rest in Peace!

I know you went by Henry or Hank, but I knew you when you were Baby Hanky. I have several nice memories of you. One memory is when you were not yet two, in just a diaper, holding your belly and standing on your Mom's coffee table. You thought you were hot stuff. I remember camp on 7th lake, I also remember going to the movies by ourselves, so our parents could play cards in peace. We thought we were so grown up. When you did grow up, you made lemonade from the lemons . I was proud of you. Be at peace.

Hank -
I am writing this on behalf of Eric, as we both know he has difficulty expressing his feelings, particularly sad ones (he said it was OK for me to write that)!
You were his best friend and I truly believe there won't be one day that passes when you're not in his thoughts. We have been storytelling the past few days, and I find myself frequently saying "your dad would've loved that" or "your dad would've thought that was so funny". Eric also told me the spaghetti story, you know the one he's talking about... we had a good laugh over it!
He will miss talking to you on the phone and your chats about nothing really, but they became so routine and comforting to him. We will miss watching you read the birthday cards we gave you every year, and laughing at their inappropriateness.
Your illness was unexpected and took you away from us abruptly, this is never something we could've been prepared for but we know you are in a better place with family, friends, and so many pets over the years who played such a loving role in your life.
There is really nothing Eric wouldn't have done for you if you asked, you instilled that selflessness in him that I so appreciate as his wife. I will always be grateful to you for bringing such a wonderful man into the world, you made him the person he is today.
Love you forever,
Lauren and Eric
