Months late, I'm afraid, but I am just now going through names of people whose deaths I have learned about in recent months.
Your Dad and Mom were my parents away from home when I was in the novitiate and all the years since. I'm glad I was able to spend time with them when I lived in Syracuse and when I visited from California and Hawaii. They were and will always be dear to me. I will miss seeing them when I travel to Syracuse for a visit this fall.
Know that I pray for them often and am reassured that they are united with each other by the promise of eternal life for those who lived lovingly and faithfully as they did.
God bless you all! With aloha,
Daughter #7

Teresa, Liz and family, So sorry to hear about your Dad. When I think of both of your parents it almost always involves St. Margaret's. I remember your Mom being at school a lot in the "60's and passing her in the hall or vestibule. Your dad was almost always an usher at our mass. They were always so sweet and raised a beautiful family. So glad to have been apart of yours and my St. Margaret's life. It's just not the same today. I feel bad for the grandkids coming up that they'll never have what we had in good old Mattydale.

To the family of Mr Steve's I am so sorry for your loss. I first met your parents when they played Mr. And Mrs. CLAUS at St. Matthews years ago when my daughter went there and had Mrs Smarelli as a teacher. Your parents were definitely one of a kind. I thought very highly of them both. You all will be in my prayers and thoughts at this most difficult time. GOD BLESS!

I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Steves (Bob's) death--he was a family friend and a well respected member of both church and civic community. I was unaware of his military background until I read his obituary--like many of his era, he did not talk of his military involvement in the war of his accomplishments--his actions spoke through his family and civic accomplishments. My sincerest condolences to Steves family in their time of loss...Mickey Flanagan
