Obituary of Daniel R. Kotas

January 26, 2014 Daniel R. Kotas, 44, passed away Sunday. Born January 6, 1970 and graduated from Fowler High School. He was employed at United Parcel Service for 25 years. He was a proud husband and father. Dan was best known for his love of the outdoors; an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a NY Yankee, NY Giants, and Syracuse basketball fan. He was a good friend to all who knew him. Predeceased by his loving mother, Virginia Kotas-Lubeck. Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Renee (Gallipeau), sons; Joshua and Peter, Brother Donald (Maureen) Kotas, Joseph (Jennifer) Lubeck, Aunt and Uncle Fred and Judy Myers, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Calling hours are Friday, January 31, from 4-7pm at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Burial Services will be Saturday February 1, at 11am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Warners NY.
