Dear Noreen and family,
I know Eddie has suffered a long time but I'm convinced he had more than 9 lives. He was not going to give up without giving it everything he had which is exactly how I'll remember him.
I fondly recall the polka music blaring out the speakers on the back of the house every Sunday (which I'm convinced helped everyone's garden's grow).
He was a tough man on the outside, but I really think a marshmellow on the inside.
I was always amazed how he could fix anything.
And as far of collecting things, he definitly made Sanford and Son look like amatuers.
My brother and I were fortunate to grow up next to such a wonderful family and we have tons of memories to look back on.
Noreen, Eddie was so incredibly lucky to have you to care for him so tirelessly these past years. Your strength and energy is amazing. Please take time to take care of yourself now.
Eddie has left a wonderful legacy through his children, their childred and now great-grandchilden.
My deepest sympathy to all of you and know that Bury Drive will never be the same.
