Obituary of Linda M Leonard

Linda Mary Suits (Berry, Ferrara, Leonard), 74, of Syracuse, New York went home to be with her family on 9/18/2018 after a long battle with brain cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Leonard.  She is survived by her three children;  Margaret Griffing, Marybeth Gunn, and Arthur John Ferrara Jr.  Grandchildren Amanda Lynn Ferrara, Justin Hartle, Alicia Griffing, Nichole Gunn, George Gunn Jr., and Zachery Griffing.

There were “adopted” children, too many to name that she loved as her own. She lived her life simply, caring for her ailing family members, working as a housekeeper and hairdresser, and caring for her grandchildren.

She chose to donate her body to science with the hope of aiding in a cure for cancers. There will be no funeral service as she didn’t want anyone to be sad about her passing.  A memorial service will be held in the spring to celebrate her life.
