I knew Katie from volunteering together at CNYPIBN. She was a passionate and kind hearted person who loved her children and family with all her heart. She made the world a better place and everyone who knew her loved her. My condolences are with her family during this difficult time.

Once in a while you are blessed enough to meet a soul that is intricately untwined with yours. Wether it be from past lives, or commonalities, or are just somehow connected in this vast universe. I had this connection with Katie. From the first time we met, at a plant exchange/ breast feeding support group held in a funky little used books store we connected. 2 odd ball sort of eccentric gentleand fierce souls met. She has been a rock in my life for so long, she was my go to "person". I am so sorry the universe has lost her light, and I am sorry you are all hurting. She was an amazing human being and will be greatly missed.

Mark and family I was so sad to hear about Katie's hospitalization and her subsequent passing. I ,and everyone I am sure, will always remember Katie's infectious good humor and kindness. When she worked with me at REACH CNY she was always a joy to have around. I will always remember listening to her stories about her family and loved ones on our long rides to different counties. She was such a bright light for us all, genuine and caring about all she met. Please accept my sincere condolences but know her memory will live on in all of us.
