September 29, 2013 Ronald LaPlatney 67 of Syracuse passed away Sunday. Ron was born in Ogdensburg, NY. He retired from ESF after 30 years employment. Ron is survived by his wife Blanche; son, Mark(Ethel) LaPlatney; daughter, Cheri Goodman; brothers, Robert(Candy) and Kevin(Shelly) LaPlatney; sister, Susan Janack; mother in law, Rose Barkley; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
