May 22, 2013 Cheryl M Jones, 55 of Syracuse passed away May 22 at St. Camillus after a long illness. Born in Greensboro North Carolina and formerly of Oakland California. Cheryl worked for Murbro parking in the 90's. She loved the outdoor and all sports, especially the Raiders football and Syracuse basketball teams. She loved music gospel and Prince were her favorites. She is survived by Sheri Sargent of Livrpool her longtime best friend and and partner in life, Daughter Rachel Hernandez, grandchildren Taeshaun, RaeYahnna and Kristopher Price of Syracuse. Brothers James Anthony and Keith Jones of California and Sister Carol Flennoy of California, her Aunt Clara Fleming of Syracuse as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are being held at St. Camillus Monday June 10 at 2pm.
