William L. Ubowski Jr. (Skip), 71, of Syracuse passed away Christmas Day with his family by his side after a long illness. He was born in Syracuse to William Sr. and Veronica Ubowski. He was an avid Syracuse University sports fan and ticket holder from the days of Archbold Stadium and a defender of coach Jim Boeheim. Bill was also was an enthusiastic Yankee fan. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. 

Skip is survived by his brother Lawrence (Stephanie), Niece Kristin and nephew Jason. Aunt Marsha Zach and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family wishes to thank St. Camillus nursing staff for their compassion and care. 

 

Calling Hours: Thursday, December 28th, 4-7 PM. Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 West Genesee St. 

Mass: Friday, December 29th, 9:30 AM Sacred Heart Basilica 

Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes
