Obituary of Laurel A. Lange
Laurel A. Lange, 56, of Baldwinsville passed away suddenly Thursday, December 14th. Laurel was born in Fulton, NY to Dorothy and Theodore Lange on April 26, 1961. She went to Phoenix high school and graduated in 1979 with honors. She worked at the Syracuse Polish home for 9 years. She loved working there and treated everyone like family.
Laurel is survived by her son; Tom (Shannon) McGinley and grandsons, Ayden and Evan. She is also survived by her sister; Lee (Joel) Lange, brother, Pete Lange, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son; Lawrence McGinley, her brother; Theodore “Bud” Lange, and parents; Dorothy and Theodore Lange.
Laurel was a very giving, caring, loving person. She had a huge heart; always putting others first, and helped anyone in need. She very much loved her beloved “Grandbabies”; Ayden and Evan, who meant the world to her. Laurel loved traveling south to warm weather with friends on vacation, enjoyed the beach and most of all, flip flops; which she wore year round, even in the snow. Her sense of humor and contagious laughter will never be forgotten. To know Laurel was to love her. Anyone she met would agree she was the most amazing person; she will be greatly missed by many, many people.
A celebration of Laurel’s life will begin at 6PM Wednesday, December 20th at the Syracuse Polish Home 915 Park Avenue Syracuse.
