May 2,2013 Joseph Paul Leo May 2, 2013 Joseph Leo 86 passed away Thursday, he was born in Syracuse on September 17 1926 to his parents, Marie and Dominick Leo. Joe was a graduate of Vocational High School and attended University College. Joe was a 1949 Open Class Golden Gloves Champion and had 16 professional bouts. Joe was an Army Veteran of WWII serving from 1944-1946. He was a self-employed contractor for over 40 years. Joe was predeceased by his wife Joan(2011), and 3 brothers, Tony, Sam and Tom and is survived by daughters; Mary Leo, Sharon Leo; sons, Joe(Alisa Meccarielli) Leo and James( Brenda Lawless) Leo; Sister, Mary Ann Leo(Anthony) Caruso; brothers, Frank(Jeanette) Leo of Roshester, Pasquale “Patsy” (Dorothy) Leo and Vincent Leo.
