Velez 87 passed away Monday April 22, 2013.Abretha was born in Watertown, NY on January 20, 1926 to Earl Cameron Huff and Doris Mae Cummins Huff Abretha worked as a waitress in New York City for 30 years and retired after 25 years as a nures aide at James Sqyare and Hallmark Nursing Homes. She was predeceased by her husband, Army Veteran, Paul M. Velez 2002 and son, William Kimball Jr. Abretha is survived by her children; Cheryl Timpe, Michele Velez; sister, Barbara Winn; daughter in law, Carol Kimball; grandchildren; Peter & Philip Timpe, Douglas & Kelly Shampine, Stacy Ranieri, Shannon Kimball, Tina Burk, Rebecca Houde, Jackie Rhinehart, Paul Rhinehardt, Lori-Ann Werline and Carrie Dean Inurnment Services with Honors for Paul and Abretha Velez will be held 1PM Wednesday May 8th 2013 in Woodlawn National Cemetery Elmira, New York
