Obituary of Michael Lepkowski

On August 1, 2017, Michael was summoned home and is at peace with the lord. Michael was a strong, selfless, courageous, respectable, compassionate, kind, hard working man who enjoyed fishing, walks with his dog Eddie, SU football, and spending time with family. He was employed by the Baldwinsville Central School District for 13 years. He loved history, especially WWII, and could almost always be found reading one of the many books he collected on the subject over the years. Michael had a contagious smile and laugh and made a long lasting impression on any and everyone he came in contact with. He was a wonderful father to his two daughters, Michele (Jesse) Goot and Nichole Lepkowski, and a loving husband to his wife of 37 years, Josephine. He had also been looking forward to being a grandfather in just a few short months. In addition, he’s survived by his brother John (Roxie) Lepkowski and sister Carol (Jamie) Fitch. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
