Hi, I was thinking about Mrs. Miles recently. I am 54 years old but in 1980, I had an accident in school and badly hit my head. I had a severe concussion and stopped breathing and Mrs. Miles saved my life by performing CPR on me… I don’t believe I ever thanked her. Thank you Mrs. Miles, I have had a wonderful life and you saved this life many years ago. RIP, Love, Kevin Hulbert

What wonderful memories of having Joyce as a teacher, of traveling across the country (California or bust!) In their camper when Martha & I were in 6th grade! What a terrific Mom! She genuinely touched so many lives, & my heartfelt thoughts go out to her children & family.

So privileged to have known your mom and dad and to have spent so much time with you all growing up. We lost another "neighborhood mom" and she surely will be missed. She taught us academically but more importantly to live life to the fullest. Heaven gained a very active angel!
