Obituary of Mae Dean (Young) Kirkland

Mae Dean Kirkland, 65 of Thomasville, Georgia and resident of Philadelphia, MS passed away on Wednesday, March 8th 2017. Her life was dedicated to being a loving wife, sister, aunt and step-mother. She was a private person with a gentle spirit. She enjoyed traveling with family, she retired from the Holiday Express in Philadelphia, MS. Mae Dean was predeceased her husbands; Nathan Dowdell and Roy C. Kirkland, who was survived by 11 children, Parents; Rufus and Naomi Young ; Brothers,; Willie J. Young and Herman Young. Mae Dean is survived by her sister, Carolyn J. Murray; four brothers; Ralph, Robert, Wayne and Jimmie Young. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, March 21st 11:00 AM to Noon with memorial services following at The Apostolic Church 347 Cortland Avenue Syracuse NY. Burial: White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt, NY.
