Obituary of Sr. Marion (Agnes) Fay, O.P.

Sr. Marion(Agnes) Fay, O.P., 102, born in Dublin, Ireland on January 22, 1914. Sr. Marion passed away in St. Camillus, where she had resided for the past 8 years. Sr. Marion entered the Perpetual Rosary Monastery in Rome, Italy in 1939 and transferred to Glasgow, Scotland. She immigrated to Syracuse and took her Solemn Vows on September 24, 1948. Sr. Marion obtained her US citizenship on November 25, 1969. Sister was devoted to the Rosary Hour of Guard every day of her life. Sr Marion held the office of Prioress and Sub-Prioress and was Sacristan of the Monastery for many years. Sr. Marion(Agnes) Fay was a great seamstress. Sr. Marion was predeceased by her parents, James and Agnes Fallon Fay and is survived by nieces and nephews in Dublin, Ireland and her sisters in the Dominican Monastery.
