August 18, 2012 Waclaw A. Pawinski 94 a resident of Syracuse for 70 years passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012. Waclaw was born in Cleveland Ohio and moved at the age of 2 ½ years old to Poland with his parents, Franciszek and Wiktoria Pawinski. Waclaw was a communicant of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus and was formerly employed and retired from Crucible Steel. Waclaw was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Stefania Pawinski July 4th, 2012. He is survived by his nieces; Zofia Sloma and Teresa Boronczyk and nephews; Henryk (Helena) Rutkowski, Zdzislaw (Hanna) Rutkowski and Matthew (Barbara) Dzielak, and many grand nieces and nephews.
