July 26, 2012 Henry J. Balcer, 93 0f Syracuse passed away Thursday. Henry was born in Binghamton, NY, He was a member of The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus, Westside Seniors and life member of KofC #6282. Henry was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. Henry was retired from Lipe Rollway. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Alyce Balcer. Henry is survived by his son, David (Karen) Balcer; grandson, Spc. Craig ( Alyssa) Balcer, stationed in Alaska, granddaughter, Kelsey Balcer; 2 great grandchildren, Kylie and Koby. Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Calling Hours: Sunday 2 to 4PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St. Syracuse. Funeral Services: Monday 8:30 AM Hollis Funeral Home and 9:30 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Entombment: St. Mary’s Mausolem, DeWitt
