May 31, 2012 Thelma Sheils, 91 of Syracuse passed away Thursday. Thelma was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and a member of The Sacred Heart Seniors. She retired in 1984 from St. Joseph’s Hospital. Thelma is predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Patricia Sheils. She is survived by her sister, Wanda Bernard; brother, George (Stella) Przekwas and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: Sunday 2 to 4 PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Funeral Services: Monday 8:45 AM Hollis Funeral Home and 9:30 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
