May 23, 2012 Sarah Podolak, 90 of Syracuse passed away Wednesday. She was the daughter of Anthony and Lottie Lempecki Wierzbicki. Sarah was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and a former member of its Choir. Sarah was a Hairstylist for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Olympian Sigmund Podolak 1961,and is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Fred) Kohler; son, Wayne (Jackie) Podolak and sister, Mary Wolicki Calling Hours: Tuesday 4 to 6:30 PM with services following at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St. Syracuse. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
