May 22, 2012 Laura Taylor Vinette, 86 , went to be with the Lord on Tuesday. A native of Maine, Laura and her late husband, Peter T. Vinette settled in Syracuse and raised their 3 sons, Peter W. Vinette, Michael E. Vinette and Richard J. Vinette. Throughout her life Laura’s greatest love was for children, her own and others. She was an active member of her neighborhood association and the Republican Party, sponsoring many events at her home. Laura is survived, in addition to her 3 sons, by her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Vinette; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her great smile, loving heart and sense of humor. Memorial Services: Friday 11 AM First Christian Assembly, Syracuse (corner of Avery Avenue and Hamilton St.), with a lunch following.
