December 12, 2008 Julien M. Lemire 90 of Syracuse, husband of Gabrielle M. Lemire, passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. Julien was born on Nov. 25, 1919 in St Catherine de Katevale Quebec Canada. He was the son of the late Herbert and Marie Blanch Lemire. Julien was raised on a farm in Essex Junction, VT and had Agricultural Schooling in Black Lake, Quebec. Julien was a self-employed technician for Church Pipe Organs; he learned his trade from Casavaunt Brothers for Casavaunt Organs in St Hyacinth, Quebec. Julien was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 191 for 60 years. Julien was a member of Most Holy Rosary Church and sang Tenor for the Choir. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 53, Gabrielle, is his son Charles Max Lemire and daughter-in-law Kathleen; 4 grandsons, Brandon, Brent, Jesse and Chris and sister; Sister Bernadette of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary of Montréal, Canada. Cremation: Chenango Valley Crematory, Earlville. Funeral Services: Thursday 9:30 AM in Most Holy Rosary Church. Inurnment: St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dewitt.
