March 30, 2012 Mary T. Ptak, 99, of Fairmount, passed away Friday. Mary was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She retired in 1977 from Muench-Kreuzer Candle Co. after 28 years employment. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, in 1980 and is survived by her sons, Joseph L. (Mary Ann) Ptak and Raymond A. (Carol) Ptak; grandchildren, Michael (Pam) Ptak, Christopher, Paul, Jason (Kara) Ptak and Barbara Jean (John) Miller; great-grandchildren, Michael Jr. Zachary and Alexandria Ptak; and stepgreat-grandson, Nicholas. Calling Hours: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 West Genesee St., Syracuse. Funeral Services: 8:30 a.m. Monday at Hollis Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
