Please accept my deepest sympathies.
I was shocked to read this in the paper.
Mike was such a great guy! A true gentlemen and professional. I looked forward to his office visits at SU.
He will be missed.

To the Worhth Family,
My mother and I send our deepest sympathy to you all. We will always remember your father as the kind and gentle man that would often assist us with things around the house. He was especially there when that lawn mower would break down, and your father always got it going. We also remember how my dad would love to come down and just talk and talk with your dad. He was a special man.
With Our Deepest Sympathy, Love, and Prayers,
Marge and Darlene

Mike and I became friends at the beginning of our freshman year at RPI. During our college years we shared many good times and not a few adventures. After graduation we served as each other's Best Man, settled down with our work, raised our families, and fell out of touch for quite a while. After we re-established contact a few years ago, many things had changed for each of us but we were able to reconnect as though the thirty some years that had passed were just a short time.
Mike was a man of strong opinions that were tempered by a self-deprecating dry wit, a far-reaching intellectual curiosity, and an often hilariously quirky sense of humor. His children and grand children were the pride and joy of his life. I will greatly miss our many long discussions on almost every subject imaginable. I am proud to have known him and prouder still to have called him a friend.
