Obituary of David Paul Galloway

October 15, 2008 David Paul Galloway of Mesa, AZ died Wednesday October 15 from a long time heart condition. Born November 30, 1946 in Syracuse NY, he was the son of Paul and Glennora Brethen Galloway. He married Paulette Vachon February 1966. Dave attended grade school in Brownville NY and graduated from LaFargeville Central High June 1964. He graduated from Gale Institute Minneapolis in 1965, Franklin Institute of Boston in 1967, and University of Phoenix in 1988. His employment included Xerox Corporation, GE Industrial X-Ray & Power Plant Equipment in NY and Martin Marietta Aerospace, Motorola, and Amkor Technologies in AZ, where he was a manufacturing engineer in the micro-chip industry. He was credited with numerous publications and patents. Family History & Genealogy Research was his favorite avocation, along with boating, fishing, studying ancient American History and spending time at his mountain cabin. Survivors include his wife Paulette; three daughters, Tracy (Robert) Hicks and grandsons Adam and Matthew of Pulaski NY; Tammi (Keith) Rogers and 5 grandchildren Shaila, Hudson, Taylee, Macie & Seth of Mesa AZ; and Shelley (Marvin) Bowler and 7 grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Halen, Holly, Jennifer, Christopher Elijah and Andrew of Lake Jackson, TX; also his mother of Roanoke VA, brothers James, Richard, Gary & Patrick, and sisters Marcia Case and Susan Cuckler. Calling hours will be Wednesday October 22 from 6-8 at Bunker Family Funeral Homes, 33 N Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201. The funeral will be Thursday October 23 at 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2549 N 32nd St, Mesa, AZ 85213, immediately followed by interment at Mesa Cemetery.
