There is now a void in the daily neighborhood routine where Anita would visit with people during the day each and every day from morning til night. Even though in the last year we all knew she didn't feel well, she never missed her daily routine. She would help anyone who needed help ... including any stray cat that came her way. Anita, rest in peace.

We were so sorry to learn of Anita's death. We have lost touch with Anita and Mary and Paulie through the years yet we think of all of them often and include Adele's children in our prayers every day. We know that Anita is in a better place now with her mother and father and grandmother and aunt. We have wonderful memories of Adele and the kids. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

As neighbors, we got to know Anita over the years by our shared caring for stray cats on our block. She equally cared for neighbors and tried to help all she could. We shared stories and visited on our porch. Her sudden passing was a shock to us. We hope that knowing that she is now in a better place eases your pain. She will be greatly missed. If we can help in anyway, please feel free to contact us.

Please accept our deepest condolences for the passing of Anita. She was a sweet, caring and talented woman. We met Anita when she was the publisher of the Carrier Magazine and continued that friendship for many years. she will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so saddened to hear about your loss. I had moved away and lost touch w/Anita but always missed her very much. She was one of the sweetest women I've known. I always enjoyed my times w/her and her kitties! My prayers are with you now and hope you know she's in a better place. I wish I had not lost touch with her and thought of her very often. Take care, all my best, Sherri Dann PS - That's a great photo of her; a very nice choice; she is smiling from above.
