August 23, 2008 Stephen E. Pavlas, 87 born in Lyndora, PA and resident of Syracuse, passed away Saturday August 23, 2008. Steve was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. Steve was a member of St. Stephen’s Church. Carrier Corporation formerly employed him. His wife Mary Frances Pavlas predeceases Steve in 1989. Steve is survived by his sisters; Helen Nicoletti and Mary (Vincent) Formica, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 10 to 11 AM with services following at Hollis Funeral Home.
