June 16, 2008 Fredrick “Fred” P. Eddicus, 81, died June 16, 2008 at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego. Fred was born in Bombay, New York to Peter and Bertha Stowell Eddicus; he lived most of his life in Syracuse. He retired to West Palm Beach, Florida. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and camping. His wife, Catherine, and his brother, Glenford, died before him. He is survived by two stepdaughters, Jean McGrath of North Carolina and Catherine Vasquez of Constantia; six sisters, Leola Craig, Madeline Laskowski, Audrey Brown and Delores Willey, all of Syracuse, Barbara (Dutch) Bullard of Fulton and Patricia Manning of Jupiter, Florida; sister-in-law, Maureen Eddicus of Constantia; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
