March 28, 2011 Paul V. Hazelgrove, 90 of Camillus passed away Monday. Paul was a communicant and lector at St. Stephen’s Church. He was formerly employed at Carrier Corp and retired in 1983 after 25 years with the New York State Department of Transportation. Paul was an Army Veteran of WWII and served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Europe as a Glider Trooper. He was engaged in many battles, namely The Battle of The Bulge. Paul is predeceased by his ½ brothers; Richard, Lawrence and Thomas Hayes. Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Agnes Gelak Hazelgrove; children, Andrew, Arlene (John) Butler, Rosemary (Richard) Catalone, Peter (Felice) Hazelgrove; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Butler, Jennifer and Chelsea Catalone; ½ sister, Joan Ganter, several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: Friday 4 to 7 PM at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee Street, Syracuse. Funeral Services: Saturday 8 AM at Hollis Funeral Home and 9 AM in the Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
