Obituary of Frank Fidura

March 18, 2011 Frank Fidura, 95 of Gerelock passed away on Friday March 18, 2011 upon returning from a family vacation in Arizona. At the age of 16, Frank joined the Civilian Conservation Corps. He worked for the Solvay Water Dept. for 23 years before retiring in 1982.He was a farmer in his younger years and continued farming, for enjoyment in his later years. He became a member of the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church at a young age and continued to attend throughout his entire life. Frank was always a cheerful man who brought a smile to the face of anyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all. Frank is survived by his nephew, David (Chris) Fidura; his lifelong companion and best friend, Vicki Duda; 2 great nieces, Danielle (Dan) and Alyssa; 2 great nephews, David (Shelly) and Aaron (Holly); great great niece, Alexis and 2 great great nephews, Damian and Payton.
