Obituary of Sally F. Kot

March 1, 2009 Sally F. Kot (Spinek), 86, died Sunday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center, Syracuse. Born in Liverpool, she was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. Sally was a waitress, assembly worker and had various other employment positions finally retiring in 1984 from O.M. Edwards after 44 years of combined work. She was known for her easy smile, self-sacrificing nature and empathy for the hardships of others. Sally was a communicant of The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Syracuse. Surviving are her two sons, Richard of Dublin, OH and Robert of Syracuse; a daughter, Patricia (Mahan) of Clay; two brothers Chester of W. Babylon, NY and Raymond of Syracuse; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grand children. Friends may call 4 - 7 P.M. Friday at Hollis Funeral Home. Funeral Services: Saturday 8 AM Hollis Funeral Home and 9:00 A.M. in The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Burial is in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
