Obituary of Peter Thomas Vinette

March 21, 2008 Peter Thomas Vinette 86 of Syracuse passed away Friday after a lengthy illness. Peter was a Navy Veteran of WWII surviving 6 years and 29 years in the Coast Guard Reserves. He was retired from the Teamsters Union Local 317.Peter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Laura Taylor Vinette, daughter; Charlene (John) Brenner, 3 sons; Peter W., Michael and Richard (Marilyn) Vinette all of Syracuse, 2 sisters; Ann Grobsmith and Veronica Vinette, 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 4 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. No callings. Cremation: Chenango Valley Crematory, Earlville, NY Memorial Services: Wednesday, March 26th, 11 AM at First Christian Assembly Church (corner of Avery Avenue and Hamilton Street). Private Burial Services will be held in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Family request in lieu of flowers that Contributions be made to: FRIENDS OF EMILY VINETTE 607 SCHULYER ST. SYRACUSE, NY 13204, a benefit created for Peter’s granddaughter who recently developed kidney failure and is on dialysis in need of a kidney.
